Volunteer Groomers Share Incredible Before And After Photos Of Shelter Animals

Poorly groomed animals are often overlooked by potential adopters

While shelter volunteers and staff around the country do their best to brush out the dogs in their care as much as possible, things aren’t always so easy. Some dogs arrive with fur that’s been matted due to time on the street or neglect by former owners. Others arrive in much better condition but find themselves sporting an overly shaggy hairdo after months of living in close quarters. Not only is it undoubtedly disheartening for the little guys and gals to walk around knowing they don’t look their best, but it can also cause them to be overlooked by potential adopters.
